Surf Mirror Montauk.jpg

After my first trip to Montauk, I had no idea where these images were going to lead, but I did know that however I printed them, I wanted them to be on an alternative medium. I investigated a lot of different avenues, but one that truly called me was printing images on antique mirror. These are where the majority of my surf images end up. There is just the perfect amount of reflection, the perfect amount of deflection and the perfect amount of vintage that I always seem to search for in everything that I shoot and I design. Most of them are encased in steel and come in any custom size or with any custom image. The moment that they were first posted on instagram, I was commissioned to do multiple residential and commercial installations including restaurants, hotels, retail stores and surf shops. Printing on alternative surfaces has become my obsession, but mirror is perhaps my one true love. The image above; Ditch Plains, Montauk.
